So I guess last week was a wash. Try as I may, being on vacation is not necessarily conducive to dieting. I didn't think we were actually going to be able to make the trip. So I wasn't really prepared with good dieting food. All in all I didn't do that bad. I ate in smaller quantities and did a lot of walking.
Let's forget about yesterday. I know it is gross BUT Peeps are my all time favorite candy. In an effort to redeem myself, Peeps have no fat.
Oh well, I can only do better today.
So far I have lost 4 pounds.

Didn't do as good today
I got my haircut today. I have this tradition of going to the Pita Pit whenever I get my hair done (3 maybe 4 times a year). Well when I got done today I was starving. So I broke down and got a hummus pita w/lettuce, tomato, g.peppers, banana peppers, and tzatziki (probably shouldn't have added the sauce). Oh well, I hadn't eaten much yet today. Problem was, I was so hungry that I gobbled the sandwich in the car. By the time I got home I was still starving. I ended up eating several handfuls of gold fish crackers. To make matters worse, I am going out to dinner with Matt tonight.
At least I still have not had any soda. Looking forward to one tomorrow morning.

Day 3
I was so busy today that I had to remember to eat. I have never been a breakfast/lunch eater. I usually eat on the fly. Thus that causes me to just snack all day long. This is a habit that I am trying to break. I am eating meals at the right time with healthy snacks in between. According to all the research this is healthier and I should loose weight. I must admit that I feel like I have more energy. Although that could be psychosomatic.

Day 2 -- Not so Bad
So I got through last night's munchies by just going to sleep. Kinda a cop out but it worked. However, I did get up 2 times to go to the bathroom. I'm not sure if my body likes the eight glasses of water :)
Today really wasn't that bad, so far no cravings. I did put out some mixed nuts to snack on just in case. I only had two handfuls (maybe 1/2 cup total). I need to go grab some carrots for tomorrow. Dinner tonight will be a little tricky. Wednesday nights are usually a grab and go night. What do you grab and go with a diet? The kids will have frozen pizza (a definite no-no for me).
Went for my walk again today. Also, I have not had a diet coke (or any other soda) for two days!!! If I do well for the rest of the week, I will treat myself to a DC Saturday morning.
